Despite my best efforts, two packages remain on my (jammy) system that refuse to be upgraded:

Where is PYTHONPATH added?

when I checked the PYTHONPATH with

echo $PYTHONPATH

the results is so complicated. I want to remove some lines. However, it s not in the bashrc,profile or enviroment file. Is there any way to fix this problem?

Jami conference software ruined any sound

I use Ubuntu 22.04. While setting up Jami, a popup said I would get better sound by switching to ALSA. So I clicked the button to switch.

Disable/Enable touchpad hotkey does not work in 23.04

So, pressing Fn+F5 on my Dell laptop displays the overlay symbol, and toggles touchpad slider in the settings. But both the hotkey, and the settings have no effect on the touchpad. Using xinput --disable 16 works fine

Full screen Windows games on dual monitor doesn't work

When using games in full screen, they don't set the right resolution, and they show a little across both monitors.

Example 1: Rust, through Steam. It works for a second, then the resolution is messed up and the clicking and hovering position doesn't match the cursor.

Add systemd to boot of a docker container

I have an ubuntu:22.04 container in docker. I need to access to systemd on it. Now, I've installed the systemd via my Dockerfile. But after running the image, systemctl command produces following error:

Running VS Code as sudo in terminal gives loop error

When I try to run VS Code from terminal with this command:
