Troubleshooting audio for HyperX headset

I am running Ubuntu 22.04 and have a HyperX Cloud Alpha S 7.1 surround headset.

Initially, everything was working perfectly and I could use the 7.1 surround settings. Since a couple months, I can only use it in stereo because in surround settings, the sound is completely out of whack.

When I go into Sound settings / Output section I have the following options:

HDD Disappears on Ubuntu 22.04 Until System Reboot

Every now and then, after I bring my PC up from the suspended mode, my HDD gets "lost". I am unable to access any directories on it. Nor does it show up when I run any of the following lsblk, parted -l, blkid, fdisk -l. Rebooting the system brings it back every single time. Running mount -a does not work. Any help on troubleshooting this is appreciated.

Taking an SD card from a Canon camera, it appears the times on Nautilus and another file manager are shifted by 4 hours earlier than what is seen on the 'Image' properties tab (which is the correct time).

Camera and laptop are both EDT (UTC-4).

For some reason the default dns client of my Ubuntu 22.04 LTS installation dies quite often, but still sporadic. I'm sure that it is the dns client, because the command

sudo systemctl restart system-resolved

fixes my problem for a short amount of time. Even without restarting the dns-client I still can ping servers in the internet via it's IP address.

I'm running Xubuntu 20.04.5 - and I swear I saw a 2y old kid accidentally spawn an emoji-input option in something like Mousepad. The emojis shown in a table were black/white font-ish, not colored bitmaps.
