After updating to Ubuntu 22.10, openvpn cannot connect to the server as a client using the same old working ovpn profile from Ubuntu 22.04 LTS.

I constantly get an error:

Gnome To-Do does not list Tasks with no Date set

So I'm trying to switch from Windows to Ubuntu (20.04) and I wanted to use the Gnome To-Do App. When creating tasks without due-date, they won't be listed in the "scheduled" tab, although there is a section with "No date set". I cant find any settings menu and am wondering, if this is intended or a bug?

Uhm, I run into trouble attempting a rollback of packages installed today. I executed this:

Ubuntu on AWS lightsail curl: (7) Failed to connect to google.com port 80: Connection timed out

I inherited this AWS account that has a Lightsail Instance with Ubuntu on it, it seems like this server can't connect to internet? I tried a simple curl call like so:

curl --url google.com

And got this error:

curl: (7) Failed to connect to google.com port 80: Connection timed out

I also tried to run this command:

sudo apt-get update

And I get a bunch of these errors:

Acer Aspire E17 Ubuntu 22.04 LTS doesn't shut down/restart

I have a fresh install of Ubuntu Server 22.04 LTS on my spare Acer laptop, the only problem is that if I shut down/restart the laptop with the respective commands, it says:

I try to connect from my Digital Ocean droplet to my company's L2TP-IPSEC Meraki VPN. I have donwloaded the network-manager-l2tp and already configured it. I try to connect it with this command: nmcli c up Meraki But it says:

HDD speed is very slow on Ubuntu

I have two operating systems one of them is Ubuntu it was working well till today it was booting very slow and I can't open anything after it boots I investigated and the reading speed was like 47 kibps!! I am trying to ping between two PCs running Ubuntu 20.04 connected via a Layer-2 switch. My goal is to get "nearly" stable ping latency. Similar to other people, I figured out that ping latency (round-trip-time) under a low CPU load gets worse than under a higher CPU load.
