'screen' [ctrl + a]+ k not working

Ctrl + a, k does nothing I've tried to get it to work but nothing happens no confirmation prompt shows at the bottom I looked up the file .screenrc and I'm considering changing the keys, but I would like to know why it's not working first.

I'm on a 2009 MBP currently running Lubuntu 22.04.2 LTS (Jammy Jellyfish) LXQT version 0.17.0 on it, I have not changed the layout of my keys.

How to solve dependency issues when package is stated two times in dpkg status file?

I upgraded from Ubuntu 18.04 to 20.04 and now want to reinstall gnome-control-center as it seems broken. Due to some issues I get the advice to fix broken packages via apt --fix-broken install. This fails with:

Only One Drive (Partition) is Showing in Ubuntu

Red icon for automounted disk / partition in nautilus (why?)

But after a recent reinstall, i now have a red icon in nautilus for a partition i enabled automount for via the disk utility (ext4, part of the same ssd /home is on).

Black screen in "Tell me why" game, runned by steam

When I try to launch the "Tell me why" game via steam the screens goes black. It does run and shows me the menu and even the first animation, but the moment the game really starts the screen goes completely black except for a few flashes of colours. USB formats but no permissions

I format my USB. The USB works fine on a windows machine. I formated it on Ubuntu using "disks". I format to FAT. Once formated i mount the usb. The USB shows in files. Trying to select NVidia driver version 530 in Ubuntu 22.04 results in "empty window with ok button"

When trying to select NVidia driver version 530 from the "Software & Updates" settings, I'm getting this window:

Most likely, it wants to tell me that something went wrong, because it automatically switches back to the previously selected driver version.

Is this a known issue with a work-around?

I've added users to 4 nodes of a microk8s cluster using

useradd user

and typing password and hitting enter to all the asked for info... from what I have read this should copy the contents of the /etc/skel folder to the users homedir? it does not. Not a huge deal, I can fix it, but just wondering why I am reading that it should and it doesn't. thanks Bill

XP-Pen driver/app is unable to detect device on Ubuntu 22.04

Problem Summary

So, when I connect my Star 03 graphic tablet to the system, the inbuilt wacom drivers in Ubuntu 22.04 kind of detect the device. However, when I install the official driver from the xp-pen website, the accompanying app is unable to detect the device.

I had created root file system partition of 30 GB and almost 3 swap partitions. Now it say low space disk.I have tried to delete the swap partition and increase the root file system and it shows that the space has been increased using lsblk but still the space has not been increased.
