Some Byobu shortcuts not working when using the Secure Shell extension from a Chromebook

While SSH-ing to a Linux workstation using the Secure Shell Chrome extension from my Chromebook, most of Byobu's keyboard shortcuts work fine (using tmux underneath). One notable exception is Alt+Up/Down for switching between sessions(*), which are interpreted as simple Up/Down key presses and scroll through my bash command history.

How do I mass-convert png images to GIMP brushes?

I've been trying to make some battlemaps for my DnD game in GIMP, I downloaded a whole bunch of assets and textures in png format. To be able to easily use them, I'd like to mass-convert the PNGs into gimp brushes and textures (.GBR, .PAT).

I tried to use ImageMagick commands for conversion, but gimp always spits out an error when trying to load a gbr file from imagemagick ("Fatal parse error in brush  ...

I recently updated to Ubuntu 22.04, and therefore, the default firefox was uninstalled (since I uninstalled snap). Nevertheless, the profiles seem to be present:

libreoffice calc issues when trying to increase row height

When I increase row height using my mouse, it only affects the rows but not the spreadsheet itself. Am I the only one with this strange problem? I also have issues when I receive a spreadsheet with non-standard row height.

Specs: Libreoffice 7.3.7.2/Community, package 1:7.3.7-0ubuntu0.22.04.3. uname -r 5.19.0-43-generic Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS.

[Jammy]: puppet-agent has no installation candidate despite following instructions

Goal: have Puppet 6 agent on a ubuntu:jammy docker container to test Puppet scripts.

I have added Puppetlabs repositories, ran apt-get update and apt-get upgrade but still apt-get install puppet-agent fails with error 'has no installation candidate`.

Orange Pi Ubuntu Jammy unable to login new user

i added new user in my orange pi using the gnome user manager. Apparently after i try to login, it just show white screen with message: "Oh no! Something has gone wrong. A problem has occured and the system can't recover. Please log out and try again."

But this doesn't happened on:

  1. orangepi user using gnome desktop
  2. the same user using different desktop, like KDE plasma

Apparently the same issue ...

Software/tool for simple image stitching/mosaicking?

I have several images (more specifically: map tiles), which overlap one another to some degree (not 100%). I would want to automatically mosaic or stitch them into a single, homogeneous image.

One way to achieve that certainly is using GIMP: Create an empty image that is at least as large as the result image you expect, manually insert the individual image/map tiles, manually align them.

"Files" File Manager opening but not loading the directory

When i start files through the UI, it starts but it doesn't load the directory, no error message, just infinite loading. But the file upload tool does work. The bar on the left is still there, but the actual contents isn't loading. I do have multiple mods installed but i have been using them for a long time and they never really impacted anything. I'm using Firefox 104 under Ubuntu 20.04. After HBOMax became Max, attempts to stream videos using Firefox result in an error message: "Something went wrong".
