I installed sensors and ran sensors-detect selecting the default choices.

Missing arm64.ddeb for kernel arm64-5.15.0-56

My arm64 machine was update/upgraded a few days ago to arm64-5.15.0-56; however the dbgsym ddeb for the kernel are not enumerated in http://ddebs.ubuntu.com/pool/main/l/linux/ as they always, and promptly, seem to be.

When will the debug information be published?

Raid 5 array in Ubuntu 22.04 fstab question

I have nominal experience with Linux, but I have a raid array from an old NAS. I recently built a computer using the drives from the previous NAS as data drives (I installed a boot drive and installed Linux Ubuntu 22.04 and mdadm. Then I shutdown and installed the raid drives. Upon the startup it found the drives automatically and I can navigate to them with the GUI).

Ubuntu 22.10 crashes when waking up from suspend

Upon waking up from suspend, I get the login screen and am able to type in a password but cannot submit/login. Icons on the login screen are sometimes missing/not loading and I have to force reboot with power button. This seems to happen every time the computer wakes up from suspend.

I just recently did a release upgrade from Ubuntu 20.04 to 22.04. I have already made all the APT updates, upgrades and fixed the NVIDIA driver.

I have not been able to figure out the webcam though. This is a Logitech C270.

How would I use both Legacy (BIOS) and UEFI in the same Ubuntu installation

Requirements for Reaper DAW

I want to install Reaper on Ubuntu 22.10. The requirements for linux are as follows:

  • libc6, libstdc++ for gcc 4.x or later
  • libgdk-3 (you can also target headless or libgdk-2 if you build your own libSwell from WDL)
  • ALSA

I want to know if Ubuntu 22.10 already comes with these packages installed or not. If not, how do I install them?

I am using a Lenovo Thinkpad L470 and Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. Similar problems have been posed in the past, and I tried their solutions but to no avail.

I am attempting to re0nstall Ubuntu 22.04. I typically update whenever it asks. Friday night it asked and I entered a very strange update cycle. Now, my NIVIDIA is down and (worse) my ethernet card is missing! I am trying to get a Windows box to make a Linux boot drive so far without success. Assistance would be appreciated!

What does "apt-get install" do (with no arguments)

I have a dockerfile that issues:

apt-get install

as one of the last steps before running the program. Im not sure what the install command does with no arguments. I think I understand correctly that the update is basically just pulling latest package information thats available in the repositories.

So this is a problem I faced in windows as well. I know my touchpad will work if i Uninstall or disable i2c HID but I don't know how to in windows. Please help.

Upon research into several posted solutions the issue remains. 1.Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS and GNOME tweaks 42.5 installed 2. Using apt-cache policy pkgname does not work in terminal 3. Like the title says, ubuntu 22.04 (lts) keeps resetting to USB Audio Device. I would like it to stay on HDMI/DisplayPort-Built in audio.

As it is now, I have to go in to the sound setting EVERY DAY to set it!

Running scripts on startup

I am trying to run a script as soon as my system starts. I am running ubuntu server version on an odroid M1. The script itself works when I use the command: ./StartJupyterNotebook.sh. However as soon as I try to call the script via crontab during a reboot nothing happens.

I modified the crontab with: crontab -e and to this I added the following code:

@reboot /home/odroid/Scripts/StartJupyterNotebook. ...
