Portuguese keyboard not writing special characters on Ubuntu Studio with any desktop app

This seems like a bug.

Portuguese keyboard is not writing this characters " á ã â " on Ubuntu Studio with any desktop app. Text editors including. It works on browsers. Including in this StackExchange text input window.

On my US keyboard with Portuguese layout if i type " ] \ | " i get " á ã â ".

All works well with Kubuntu. What setting/config file do i compare with Kubuntu so i can apply it in ...

I've just installed Ubuntu and I am trying to get into gaming with it.

I have a problem that all my games are very choppy with low FPS. I'm not sure if it's using my Nvidia GeForce 1050 .

Yesterday applied a regular update, including to the kernel. Afterwards was presented with another update. Said yes, but it went into an update loop between two sets of updates. I didn't write down what they were.

I migrated my files from my old x86 Macbook Pro to my dazzling M1 Mac. I did not migrate any applications, because I don't want to use the Rosetta technology to run x86 binaries in emulation.

I installed Multipass, no problem. But I have no access to my old multipass VMs, even though the directories are right where they always were.

After a recent update to Ubuntu 22.04, I can no longer use my bluetooth headset. The headset connects, but is not recognized as a device in sound settings. It is also not recognized in the pulseaudio volume control. I have pulse audio, pipewire and alsa installed. I have searched the internet for similar problems, but none of the answers have solved my problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am trying to install python-gtk2 on Ubuntu 22.04 like so:

How to display colored emojis in KDE Konsole?

I just received this warning...

Not all updates can be installed

However, I have no idea which option that I should choose.

How are [Partial Upgrade] and [Continue] any different?

What does [Continue] do? Does it continue the update?

Why can't I tell what will happen? How can I determine if this was caused by "A previous upgrade which didn't complete"?

Also, there doesn't seem to be a [Cancel] option.
