Adding a nohup command to .profile

This has been annoying me for a while. There's this Polybar module called Greenclip that is equivalent to the clipboard icon we see in some DEs such as KDE. In order for it to work, I need to run the following command:

Unable to use any packages that i included while building for an ubuntu derived VM on a hypervisor

I want certain libraries on my Apertis VM on a QNX Hypervisor. The apertis image is built using YAML files, and it includes the libraries in the yaml file. When i build this image, it generates- dtb file, Initrd, the image, and a rootfs.tar.gz. When i include the first three in the partition, i get this:

Change default keyboard layout for virtual terminal

I use customized keyboard layout, which was set to default in UI gnome settings. It works well in gnome.

However, when I open a new virtual termnial (Ctrl+Shift+F4 orCtrl+Shift+F5 ) It does not use my prefered layout :(

Any idea how to make my layout the default everywhere ?

I have 2 VPS servers running on Ubuntu 22.04. 1 x86_64 at Contabo (VPS1) and one Oracle cloud free tier ARM64 (VPS2).

I want to install ubuntu instead of windows, and that seems confusing when i want to make partitions, on windows i have C and D dirves and when i want to install software i had to decide which drive to install it on. I've been trying to get SNMP to work for OID .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.9 on Ubuntu 20 and 22, for reference: https://oidref.com/1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.9

When trying on Ubuntu 18 it does work. Ubuntu 18 uses SNMP version 5.7.3. whereas Ubuntu 20 uses 5.8.0 and Ubuntu 22 uses 5.9.0., I am not sure how relevant that is, but I'd just thought I'd put it alongside it.

Is Linux swap partition still needed with Ubuntu 22.04

I read that if there is no swap partition, newer Ubuntu versions may use a special file on any other available disk space once the RAM is completely used.

Can anybody with more knowledge than me please confirm this information? Then I would remove my Linux-swap partition to gain more space.
