Wireguard VPN Client GUI issue

I am not getting the Wireguard option at Settings > Network > VPN > addnetwork(+). Only PPTP and OpenVPN is visible. How can I add the wireguard option there? Screenshot attached enter image description here

GRUB menu lost after Windows 11 update

Headphones plugged in, but audio comes through speakers Ubuntu 22.04

I have dual-booted Ubuntu 22.04 from Windows. My headphones worked as normal on windows, but when I plug them in whilst using Linux, the sound still comes from the speakers.

I believe the headphones are indeed still being detected but the audio itself still comes from the speakers rather than through the headphones.

I have also tried using pavucontrol, but to no luck so far.

LUKS FDE password policy not enforced?

I am noticing that on a vanilla Ubuntu 22.04 LTS installation, there is no password policy whatsoever enforced when changing the LUKS FDE password using cryptsetup luksChangeKey or luksAddKey.

In the man page for cryptsetup-luksAddKey the following is claimed:

Ubuntu 22.04: bluetooth headset non working after autoconnect

I am going to describe my issue:

  1. I am on Ubuntu 22.04 (OS).
  2. I own a bluetooth headset (HS).
  3. The HS is paired with OS.
  4. I pull HS from its charging shell and it auto connectes to OS.
  5. OS shows me the connected HS.
  6. I play some music or video, but the audio go through the PC speakers.
  7. I manually disconnect HS and manually reconnect it.
  8. Now the audio goes through the HS.

Could somebody tell me how to solve it ...

Ubuntu 22.04 reboot randomly when ethernet is plugged

i have a new Asus TUF laptop, i installed Ubuntu 22.04 on it from a usb device. Wifi and wired internet connection seems to work properly but, when the ethernet cable is plugged on, ubuntu reboot randomly.

I don't understand why and i don't know where to look on logs to understand what happen.

Any idea ?

I am running Ubuntu 22.04LTS, but I love the old look of Ubuntu 14.04, and I really want to customize my Ubuntu to look like this. I can install the Ambience GTK theme and the Humanity icons, but I'd like the same look of the top bar and the dock. Could I maybe get some links to some themes that are similar to this look?

Ubuntu gives black screen on Built-in monitor but ok on external monitor

Ubuntu 23.04. No sound from laptop speakers, but wired headphones work fine. Bluetooth ones also work if it matters. System properly detects when headphones are connected and switches from speakers to headphones and vice versa.

For some reason, usb-guard decided to remove all of the rules I have written that allowed my keyboard and mouse. I've had this happen before from myself messing up the configuration, but this setup has been running without modification for months.

Moving virtual IP address

Something drive me crazy: I ever installed Haproxy, to let it work I needed a virtual IP address. Now I removed haproxy on both servers but still the virtual IP address is there and unable to remove.

The only I can see the eth0:0 is with webmin Unable to remove with standard commando's or within webmin if config -a show me only the real interface with loopback

I am trying to install restbed on my linux Ubuntu 22.04 jammy. I am running the following commands to install it

sudo apt install librestbed-dev

but I am getting an error

E: Unable to locate package librestbed-dev

I have Ubuntu running under WSL2. This works fine for the most part, but snap list is hanging with no error. I ran strace snap list and saw this:
