I have been using my Lenovo Thinkbook 14 (AMD Renoir) running on Ubuntu 22.04.1 in combination with an external monitor (Dell U2720Q, 27") via a USB-C displayport 1.4 for a year now without problems, until yesterday.

Today, everything on the external monitor is slow/laggy (mouse pointer, dragging windows, etc.), while the laptop's internal monitor is fine.

Blue tinted screen after login

I freshly installed Ubuntu Server 22.04.1 and added ubuntu-desktop with lightdm to it. Everything is running fine, besides the fact that the screen is getting tinted blue after I log in. See attached images of before and after login. The colors during boot and on the login screen itself are fine, so the HDMI cable isn't the issue.

After a reboot, mysqld is running, but no socket gets created and you cannot connect to the MySQL server:
