on an Android/Windows Laptop after booting over USB to Ubuntu Android wont boot

I have an old Tablet (Chuwi Hi 10 Pro) that has Android and Windows in dual-boot. I Booted over USB Ubuntu once and since then Android won't Start anymore it just hangs on the Starting screen. I don't know what to do, to make Android boot again, and because it's a weird Android version I don't know if I can find an Android version that works with that Tablet.

ModemManager no longer recognizes Telit LE910C4 via QMI after upgrade from 1.18 to 1.21

When running Ubunto 20.04 with ModemManager v1.18 the Telit LE910 C4 works just fine and Im able to setup a EPS bearer and cdc_wdm0 device sets up fine.

since i switched from windows 10 to Ubuntu the only issue i had was oversensitive trackpoint, i tried fixing it myself but most stuff i found had something to do with xinput which would not work(got some error mesage about xwayland), i tried to use libinput and found some info about the trackpoint:

When I check the resource manager I see that 3mb/sec(whole my internet speed) is being used by the installation process. A left click gets interpreted as a right click sometimes randomly on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS

Description of the problem:

Sometimes (1 out of 50 more or less), using a left click produces a right click. Then I need to click a few times before it works.

Is this a duplicate question?

I see this is a common problem since Ubuntu 18, at least.

None of the other topics I found helped me.

That's why I am opening this, maybe in 2022 this topic has been covered and has a solution.

Open-vm-tools doesn't work any more after reboot

I'v installed open-vm-tools successfully on Ubuntu 20.04 guest in VMWare Workstation 15 on Windows 10 host.

Both full screen and shared folder work fine after the intallation.

But after reboot the VM, both full screen and shared folder don't work anymore.

I am a seismology student and I'm new to programming. Recently I tried to install ISP for seismology via the instruction mentioned in this article.

I installed WSL Ubuntu, then I installed vcxsrv.exe. Then I ran Ubuntu and pasted this command: vcxsrv.exe -multiwindow -clipboard -wgl. But I received vcxsrv.exe: command not found. Why does this happen and is there a way to fix this?

Consumer GPUs from AMD and nVidia doesn't support full GPU virtualization (means host and guest can share the GPU), only GPU-pass through is partially supported.

Best way to see temperature/statistics of all components

What is the best way to see the temperature and statistics (like fan speed) of all computer components. I'm using Ubuntu 22.04.1, have an RTX 3090. I can use nvidia-smi to get the GPU temp, and you could use lm-sensors to monitor the CPU temp. However, is there a single command I can run to get the temperature of all components? (and fanspeed as well could be helpful, but not as important).

Wi-Fi issues with Ubuntu 22.04

I am currently using 22.04 dual booted with windows 11. I am using a spectrum Wi-Fi connection that requires login and adding MAC address.

The Wi-Fi seemed to be working fine until recently it stopped. However the Wi-Fi seems to be working fine for windows and all the other devices.
