Ubuntu 22.04 Blank/Dim screen not working

Hardware: Amd Ryzen 3800x, Radeon 5700 (Desktop pc) (Two screens)

Software: ubuntu 22.04

It's now a couple of days that blank screen after a few minutes is not working anymore. I checked if the settings where correct and that's ok.

I tried with no applications open and gnome-extensions disabled, still the same problem.

What can cause this? Can anyone help?

I bought an Asus ROG Zephyrus m16. In Windows 11 it maintains a temperature between 35° and 45° while in Ubuntu 22.04 it maintains a temperature between 45° and 60°. Why does this happen? How can I improve this?

Apps unable to connect to the internet after beginning of NVIDIA driver install process

I'm fairly new to linux and like the title says I was trying to install a NVIDIA driver on Ubuntu 22.04 and during this process something went wrong and now the apps on my computer (browser, VPN,etc.) are unable to connect to the internet. If i suspend ubuntu 23.04 on my lenovo laptop, when i wake up again from suspention,the login menu appear but i cant login and it seems buggy, or the screen remain all black, and either way i cant login.And if happens to show the login menu,i can't type the password to enter gnome, and i have again to force shutdown. Is this a bug that everyone is having? and will be there a a update to fix this?

Have a new Ubuntu 22.04 system. Unfortunately it appears it is all locked up and I cannot find nor execute 2 apps that I installed. Also the Activities Bar is frozen.

I installed Chrome from the .deb file : google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb

How can I tell BASH which disk I want to create a file on?

I want to create a file on an Ubuntu machine, and I want to make sure I put it in the right drive for my purposes. If this were Windows, I could check whether putting it in C:, to D:, or to E:, but it is not intuitive in Ubuntu how to specify the drive. Is there an easy way to make sure I'm putting my file in the right drive?

I updated Ubuntu 22.04 to 23.04. But after booting up. The login screen seems like it is from 22.04. When I suspend and see the login page it seems like 23.04. And the graphics of buttons at login screen is a little bit broken too when I first booted up not suspended.

Ubuntu 22.04 is not detecting my Netgear A6210 Wifi adapter. It uses mt7612u chipset from Mediatek, which should be covered by the mt76 driver in the linux kernel 5.19.

sudo modprobe mt76 and sudo modprobe mt76-usb both return nothing, so they should be working. I also tried rebooting and sudo service NetworkManager restart but the issue persists.

USB Serial communication stops with "Resource Temporarily Unavailable", preceeded by receiving random characters

I'm using an ftdi serial port converter. After opening the converter using microcom, I will eventually see these characters spew to the screen "DDFDDFDFD", then I get this message: Resource temporarily unavailable. I've uninstalled brltty, disabled ModemManager and looked at using lsof to find a process that is using the /dev/ttyUSB0 resource. None of this fixes the issue.

a collegue crashed the LVM structure of a VM so I'm trying to help him repair the LVM structure.

I first tried to boot into recovery mode but I end up in a busybox shell.

So I rebooted into an Ubuntu 22.04 ISO and then I try to scan the LVM structure :
