Upgrade 23.04 stops Dead

After upgrading to Ubuntu 23.04 (from 22.10), 23.04 will not load after the restart, it just stops dead after the bios. I tried everything just to get it loaded, but it just stops, and that is the only way to explain it, no other info. It just stops. I don’t have a clue, does anyone else?

Ubuntu server running Apache2 and then I try to display a PDF or PNG file it shows the raw file, not the graphical view. Using different browsers do not open the file in normal viewing mode, but shows the raw data.

Ubuntu 22.04 VNC remote access password check failed, how to fix from terminal

so I am using both putty and VNC viewer to remotely access Raspberry PI 4 from my pc, I set everything needed for VNC viewer, the issue is that each time I boot the RPI the VNC password changes and now I can't access it anymore.

currently I can only access the RPI via Putty, how can I fix that issue from terminal ?

Running 22.04 ARM as a VM in Parallels but no network connection is shown

First I do have network connectivity and internet access...however, no network connection is shown under settings, network. How do I fix this?

Also, might be related...looks like snap-store GUI is not installed in 22.04 ARM, I manually installed it in terminal but when clicking update tab it says no connection. There is a button for network settings but it does nothing. Seems related.

Full screen in gnome desktop similar to i3-wm?

I used tiling window manager and I like two things that is tiling and full screen mode.

By using pop shell in gnome, I got the tiling but I didn't find any resources for full screen such that no panel will be show. I want similar full screen in every app like in i3-wm. There is a file named com.google.android.tzdata2.apex in my android phone I open it in linux ubuntu, and there was a file inside it named apex_payload.img, i open this in ubuntu and a /dev/loop13 created that shows file in read-only mode

I installed kubuntu on my laptop recently. It's the only system on laptop. Today I was working on it, when it suddenly freezed. I did hard reboot and my system didn't found any OS on my SSD. Currently I am using usb flash drive. What should i do to restore my linux? In case this wiil give any useful information:

Restore a minimzed window with a terminal command?

I am using this command to "activate" (focus) a unfocused window:

xdotool windowactivate --sync $WINDOW_ID

But, this only works if the window is not minimzed. So I figured I need a separate command to "restore" the window from minimzed state.

Is there such a command?
