I'm getting acpi error while rebooting the linux os 23.04 and also suddenly my disk got full to 100% without any data

I upgraded my linux os from 22.04 to 23.04 but suddenly disk got full and laptop started lagging. While rebooting it either on acpi_error page or dell symbol only but in elasticsearch it shows uptime. Please help me out with this

Dlink DWA-182D wireless adaptor not working with Ubuntu 22.04 (linux kernel 5.19.0-41-generic)

I can't see any wireless adaptor on a fresh install of Ubuntu 22.04 with DLink DWA-182D. From my understanding the hardware seems to be connected (using lsusb) but ifconfig doesn't show the wireless interface. Changing to a different active directory domain

We have Ubuntu Linux machines connected to our Active Directory domain and need to move them to a different domain. With this change, the domain user names will be changing as well.

It seems like the steps would be to leave the current domain and then join the new domain.

For example we currently have user1 connected to domain1. That user will become user200 on domain2.

Dock issue on secondary screen after upgrading from 22.10 to 23.04

I just upgraded from 22.10 to 23.04, I have the Dock set to auto-hide, however on my secondary monitor when I hover over it, it does not stay up it flickers or just doesn't open, however if I click where an Icon should be it opens the software. I tried screen recording it but the screen recorder on ubuntu records it as being there.

can't take the ownership of my secondary hard drive

i have a ntfs hard mounted on /mnt/HDD and i want to change the ownership of the files inside from root to amiroof. i tried

sudo chwon -R amiroof:amiroof /mnt/HDD 

but that didnt worked and the result of ls -halg /mnt/HDD is still the same.

i have windows installed on that drive (with fast startup disabled) and that might be the cause.

Ubuntu 23.04 new install no permission to write home directory

I’ve just installed 23.04 fresh to my whole drive using a bootable USB and am unable to write to my user directory without sudo. None of the usual Documents, Downloads, etc, directories exist either.

Additionally I cannot open Firefox so am having to use my phone.

I’d expect a new install to at least have the basic functionality working. What’s likely to have gone wrong?

I was trying to install yelp-tools. I ran sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade then sudo apt-get install yelp-tools it fails with this:
