I was very dependent on mouse gestures on my windows system, however I recently switched to Ubuntu 22.04 LTS and I am loving it, but the only thing I am missing badly is strokePlus mouse gestures here I've tried installing easyStroke but it is not working ("not able to record or run gestures"), Can anyone please help me to get mouse/draw gestures here. SSD sometimes not recognized

I have a weird issue... I have a secondary SSD (in /dev/sdb). Sometimes (after a reboot or just when the disk feels like it), the system can not recognize it and /dev/sdb does not exist and does not show up in /proc/partitions or when I run lsblk. The only way to get the disk back is to do a shutdown and then power on again. Reboot does nothing.

Ubuntu 23.04: Weird white windows on some applications (GTK4)

I recently upgraded to Ubuntu 23.04 and have noticed that some applications are displaying a white border instead of applying the system theme. I suspect this may be related to the update to GTK4.

how to access random task switcher on screen?

Sometimes when I (accidentally) swipe the mouse across the screen, all the active desktops show up on the screen at the same time...sort of like Windows Task Manager.

I run a a few servers, 2 of which have mitmproxy correctly installed. I follow the same process as the other 2 servers on an identical 3rd server, but mitmproxy does not work. I get a TLS error every time. Here's what i do:

Using Ubuntu 22.04, I want either my gnome terminal or console to start centered on the screen. Bard AI told me to use this command: gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences center-new-windows true

I got an error message that the key doesn't exist which I confirmed by using the gsettings list commands.

Missing Symlink in Open SSL

I experienced a problem setting up a new system (Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS, openssl 3.0.2-0ubuntu1.8) because libssl.so could not be found until I added a symlink from "libssl.so" to libssl.so -> /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libssl.so.3.

Is the lack of a symlink a bug in the openssl or some other package?

Kubuntu 23.04 not booting with the 6.2 kernel

After upgrading to Kubuntu 23.04, Kubuntu gets stuck here:
