how to enable PCI passthru for NIC (or SR-IOV) on ubuntu 22.04 LTS

I have a DL380p G9 with 4port onboard NIC adapter. While the manufacturer says it supports SR-IOV. I am not seeing the capabilities in the OS command output. I intend to use 3 ports for VMs and 1 port for host.

How can I get this adapter to support PCI PAssthrough (or SR-IOV)?

I use a USB bluetooth 5.0 micro adapter on a Ubuntu desktop for sound on an inexpensive set of 5.0 earbuds. The results are poor. I run the dconf reset -f / and i have lost all the new look and features that come with ubuntu 2022.10. any idea how I revert them, for example: The top bar reverted to the old style, the dock reverted to the old basic one. And also the settings on the setting app went back to the older ubuntu setting

When I plug in an FTDI USB adapter I don't get /dev/ttyUSB0 created. I do get /sys/class/USB/ttyUSB0

PPA Failed to fetch: the package it is looking for is out of date

A PPA is giving apt upgrade errors because the update is trying to install a package which has been removed and replaced with a newer one.

apt dist-upgrade --fix-missing 

is suggested as a fix, but it results in the same error.

Issue with secure boot and official kernel 5.15.0-56

I got a new ThinkPad L13 and I decided to install Ubuntu on it. Installation went fine until I had to install the kernel 5.15.0-56, which is a requirement for an application. 5.15.0-56 installs without problems but it doesn't boot because of "bad shim". The kernel is signed and it's the official one from ubuntu. How can I fix this?

System error on startup

I have a new Ubuntu install (22.04.2) on a Lenovo ThinkPad T460. It's actually set up as dual-boot with Windows 10. I'm using the XFCE desktop with lightdm as the display manager.

When it boots, I get a small dialog box that says "System Program Problem Detected". If I click on "Report problem", nothing seems to happen. If I click on either button the system seems to run normally.

I've recently installed Linux to dual boot, so i'm a complete noob and the answer may be obvious.

Note that i am using Ralink Technology, Corp. RT5370 Wireless Adapter judging by lsusb

But the internet speed, compared to windows when using the same wireless usb adapter, in the same conditions, is immensely different. On Windows i get 50-60 Mb/s, while on Linux it struggles to reach even 10Mb/s.
