I moved Ubuntu to drive D (flash drive) with these commands:

wsl --shutdown
wsl --export Ubuntu D:\WSL\UbuntuBackup.tar 
wsl --unregister Ubuntu 
wsl --import Ubuntu D:\WSL\ D:\WSL\UbuntuBackup.tar --version 2 

I inserted the flash drive into my laptop, but my Ubuntu is not there. It needs to be imported as in the last command:

After upgrading Ubuntu 18.04 to 22.04 (passing through 20.04) an old web application with an ASMX web service (so with Mono ) won't work anymore. I tried a lot of things , but neither works. Mono error is: "Mono.Btls.MonoBtlsException: Ssl error:1000042e:SSL routines:OPENSSL_internal:TLSV1_ALERT_PROTOCOL_VERSION"

Failed to create a partition on Windows for a Dual Boot

Used disk management to shrink the volume of my primary partition C drive, but it only allows me to shrink it by a couple dozen megabytes for an unallocated partition. I tried turning off bitlocker and device encryption but it still doesn't allow me to shrink my C drive enough.

I have tried setting nomodeset in the grub, I tried switching between kernels 5.19 and 6.2, the former worked at first, but none of my browsers worked.
