I’m trying to figure out HOW to get sample Python apps from https://docs.nuance.com to work in WSL2, specifically Ubuntu at the moment. However, I get it all to work but it fails to connect to the Nuance endpoint, dlg.api.nuance.com:443 with the following error:

Don`t wake up after second suspend

My system does not wake up after the second suspend after boot. The problem occurs with any action which lead to call systemd suspend (lid close, power button press, gnome autosuspend and et al). At the same time, if I hard put my system to suspend by writing echo mem > /sys/power/state inside terminal everything work correctly.

Ubuntu gamepack 20.04 not saving system settings

I installed Ubuntu Gamepack in two computers and none of these is able to save system settings (incluiding taskbar and desktop files) after rebooting the system.

Other files does save, for example, brave browser is installed on my computer and is still there.

Version: 20.04 amd64 for both computers, installed via usb.

Cannot boot Ubuntu 20.4, not showing anything

I installed Ubuntu with a USB. It worked OK at first, but when I shut down the laptop for the 1st time and tried to boot it again it showed a message saying " unrecognized AMD processor un CpuInfoAMD" and then shows a black screen. I got a Ryzen 5800h (with Radeon graphics) and an RTX 3050. I changed NVIDIA drivers to oficial ones and installed Radeon Linux drivers provided by AMD.

Problem with a usb pendrive

One pendrive is not mounting. In disks or gparted the pendrive does not appear. When i run dmesg, the pendrive appears but:

Boot with “Minimal BASH-like line…” and cannot load menuentry even if I run “source ***” and “normal” for more times

When I boot the machine with “grubx64.efi”, the GRUB shows “Minimal BASH-like…” instead of the menuentries at /efi/ubuntu/grub.cfg. I tried “source /efi/ubuntu/grub.cfg; normal”, but it clears the screen and no error occurred. Because of that, I have to boot Ubuntu manually.

How to set iproute2 routing table for 2 network interfaces on Ubuntu 22.04

I want to use 2 network interfaces (enp7s0 and enp8s0) simultaneously on Ubuntu 22.04. Both has its own separate internet connection. My default is enp8s0 which I plugged the LAN cable in first. I think I need to set a routing table for that.

No sound through HDMI after update

Is there a "reverse compatibility" mode for 22.04 LTS?

I have an app provided by my college as part of a course and when I run it on Ubuntu 22.04 it crashes with a segmentation fault. However if I run it on 18.04 LTS and 20.04 LTS it works fine. I have tried running it from a 22.04 LTS Live CD and it crashes in the same way as on my laptop, so I don't think this is a problem with my installation.
