I have three monitors, all 1920×1200.
Three monitors arranged side-by-side, numbered 2,1,3 in order

I need one monitor (either 2 or 3, above) to use a subset of the pixels, 1624×1092. I need this so that a specific application that launches fullscreen will be exactly that resolution. I don't care where on the monitor this subset is placed; top left is fine.

After updating Ubuntu to 22.04 LTS from 20.04 LTS, I have a problem when locking my laptop. It is a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Gen 10 Carbon with Intel Iris xe Graphics.

After clicking the lock button or "closing" the device the screen turns off but when clicked the button to exit from the "locking" mode the screen remains black.

All Screen icons disappear/reappear at random

Ubuntu 22.04.1 Every so often all screen icons disappear then reappear. It occurs within ~2 seconds and has been happening for a few days only. Very annoying. If I'm searching for a string inside editor this "bug" resets the search and I end up typing elsewhere. At a guess a "trap" that DMESG reports seems to coincide with the "bug" occurrence.

No wifi hotspot when docker is enabled

When I started the docker service/socket, I'm no more able to share my laptop connection via wifi hotspot. To be more precise, my phone still detects my hotspot, I enter the password, it tells me 'registered' but I also get a 'no internet connection'.

When I disable and stop the docker service and restart my laptop, the phone manages to connect to the internet.

I've tried using Gnome-tweaks to no avail. Using toggle shortcuts works. E.g. if I bind Caps Lock (grp:caps_toggle in setxkbmap-speak) it works as expected - cycles through layouts. But when I use Left Ctrl to first layout; Right Ctrl to last layout those key combos do nothing.

I know that you have to kill the running snap-store and then do a sudo snap refresh snap-store but then several days later the messages start all over.
