When I try to boot my PC that runs Ubuntu, it gets stucks on the welcome page and when I press any key it displays lot of messages with last one being "A start job is running for load kernel module ef i_pstore (time/no limit)"

How can I fix this?

Network stops listening after some time Ubuntu 20.04 LTS

I am currently running on ubuntu 20.04 LTS

All packages are up to date.

Using Ping 8.8.8.8 does not work. Randomly stops after {some number}th ping and "Packet loss" occurs. However when I visit the actual server IP (numbers), it magically starts listening to return packets.

Password Works for Logon but Not for Update Authentication (Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS)

My password in Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS is being rejected for authentication of updates, app install/uninstall, unlock, ... However, it does work when I log on after a restart. Until a week or so ago it worked for everything. How do I fix this?

On Ubuntu, my WSL do add the changes which I made and also commits the changes but it do not push my changes to my Git repository

Missing playback device

I have a new docking station (Caldigit TB4) connected through TB4/UBS4 to my laptop (Dell XPS 9310). There are speakers connected through the docking statation, and they work well with other laptops.

How to downgrade glibc version on Ubuntu 20.04 6

Right now, we have upgraded to Ubuntu 20.04 6 version having glibc version as 2.31. However, there are some packages which requires native packages. For example, icu is dependent upon icu-native which is compiled with GLIBCXX_3.4.30, but when icu is getting compiled in it is checking for 3.4.30 but libstdc++ library only supports till 3.4.28.

Problem with Scroll_Lock and Super

File utility including UPnP/DLNA resources - like BubbleUPnP on Android?

I'm looking for a file utility that supports UPnP/DLNA resources. There are PLAYERS, but I want to have the media preferably visible in a combined file utility/manager (like Windows Explorer), or its own (like Android BubleUPnP). Dolphin allows for ssh, ftp, etc., but not DLNA.

My research provided djmount, but that seems to be unavailable in 22.04.

I'm running Jammy LTS which came with 5.15.x kernel and I do run some tools that are dependent on kernel version. I see in jammy updates that there are also higher kernel versions available like 5.19.x or 6.2.x however these kernels are not listed as targeted for Jammy eg. on https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+publishinghistory.

I just installed obs-studio (version 29.1.3) on my Ubuntu 22.04.2 lts and i cant find screen capture option.

I followed instructions from this link :
