On 3/8/23 my systems received an update for samba. As soon as the samba server restarted after the update, nmbd started spamming the syslog with hundreds of error messages a day, none of which had been emitted in the prior years that this server had been running samba.

The log entries look like this, with only the "question and answer name" varying between entries

Hi I am using a Dual boot system with Windows 11 and Ubuntu 22.04. In Windows, everything works fine but while working in Ubuntu only the HDMI port is detected by default. Adding Jack is not detected by the system. Here are all the drivers INFO related to ALSA, pulsewire, and pulseaudio.

How I can restore/reset the /etc/fstab on amazon AWS EC-2 ubuntu 22.04?

In an amazon EC-2 instance I accidentally overwrote the /etc/fstab while I was adding a setting fro swapfile:

But I have not rebooted the machin yet. How I can restore it whilst keeping the swap settings on it?

Once I unlock the hard drive, I cannot login to the user with a password, only the fingerprint scanner. Once I login, I can unlock the gnome keyring with the password.

I don't get search results while searching for files both with databrowser and terminal. Concrete: "Search" stopps after search in the first mentioned directory.

Blank screen after ATI radeon RX 550 update

Where to check for future bluetooth kernel support
