Hello today I just booted up my pc normally and the sound output is dummy output, I even reinstalled my whole OS because of that and it didn't work. This is the logs that come up during startup:

I have installed Ubuntu 22.04 on a new laptop (Schenker Vision 15 E23) and do not have sound.

The sound options only offer the selection of the Dummy-Output and I have tried a few days with a lot of ways that are already offered on this forum and many more, but none has solved my issue yet.

I have changed

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash"

to

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash snd_intel ...

I've had this headset for a while now and have had mixed luck with getting these to work nicely on any linux distro, including now the latest LTS ubuntu release.

Most of the issues regarding these is the card profile not switching to high quality audio (not being able to switch to LDAP). I've sometimes gotten this to work by connecting to android, fiddling with some app settings on the headphones ...

How to direct the audio output to the right device

In my Ubuntu Desktop 22.10 the output audio is directed to the Nvidia graphic cards in the machine, with the result of no sound trhough the speakers, but the option does not show the one in the motherboard Asrock TRX40 Creator.

I upgraded my system yesterday and it updated dkms to the latest version for Ubuntu 22.10: dmks3.0.6-2ubuntu1. At the same time, apt upgraded me to the latest kernel version.

MSI Laptop brightness randomly changes after using function keys

Internet was cut during an update to 20.04. Now there are no desktop icons. The left side menu only shows icons when you mouse over them. If you mouse over VirtualBox and select it, the windows graphics perform normally inside the VM. How do I go about debugging it and fixing this? Any help will be much appreciated.

Why am I getting a 128 IPv6 prefix when connecting my Ubuntu computer to the uplink?

I have a fiber internet connection with a media adapter, when my routers are connected (one at a time), they each get a 64 prefix, but when my computer is connected, it's getting a 128.
I looked in the dhclient.conf man page and didn't see a prefix preference, do I need to install something that works with RA? if so what? Does NetworkManager support it?
