I have an old computer and it has 4GB of RAM and I want to test minecraft for research purposes and it freezes. I have a mod to speed up the game but i'm not sure if its using more ram or not, the game goes from smooth FPS to freezing the computer probably due to full ram. (I've tried to see the ram usage fill up but It never seems to happen when I'm looking.)

How to stop phone charging from battery when laptop is unplugged

Sometimes I plug my phone in to my laptop for USB tethering (bluetooth tethering works terribly for some reason so this is not an option), but annoyingly it charges from my laptop battery when the (android) phone is plugged into my laptop. How do I stop this from happening when my laptop is unplugged (from charging it's own battery).

I installed ROCm v5.1.1 as part of amdgpuv22.20 on Ubuntu 22.04 using this answer (although I also use amdgpu for graphics) but when I ran /opt/rocm/bin/rocminfo I got the following error message:

Bluetooth not turning on Ubuntu 22.04

I've done pretty much every method that I've found on the internet, but I can't turn on my bluetooth.

I just bought a new alienware r7. I've been using Ubuntu since 2018. So, will any problems arise regarding gpu drivers and wifi card or will it bottleneck than windows 11. Why choose Ubuntu from Grub gives black screen?

I have a "Dell Latitude 7400" laptop. I installed Ubuntu 22.04 alongside of Windows 10(Working very well). When I select Ubuntu from the Grub boot manager it sometimes gives a black screen. Then I need to restart the PC again and some times the grub loader starts Ubuntu.

I tried the "nomodeset" method and the Ubuntu recovery method sometimes they work and sometime they don't.

I often need to open a vnc tunnel with the following command:
